Packaging / Design

Nice artwork and luxurious bookstyle digipack. I kind of like this new style offspring of the once so exclusive digipacks. However; As with digipacks, I still feel that these sets should ALLWAYS include somekind of slipcase, And I'll continue to stand by that. If I could give it a 6.5 I would.

Disc contents / Extras

This set sports a pretty nice set of extras even though it's lacking a feature commentary track. The documentaries are however quite sufficiant and so I can't give it anything less than a 7 this time around as the set now also includes to TWO brand new documentaries (Unstoppable Force and Closer To The Real Thing) as well as a spanking new DTS-track for the main feature.

But, a true fan should definetly note the fact that this release doesn't include the original mono audio and that the DD 5.1 and the DTS track sound very VERY different when it comes to the stuff like weapons being fired and bombs exploding etc. For those who havn't seen the film in mono, I'm sure you won't suffer, but for anyoen who has seen this film in mono growing up, I'm sure you'll get quite a shock as to what a negative impact a 5.1 convertion can have to a very classic film.
