Oh come on! Are you serious!? Yeah, you read it - This set comes with a supercool Borat style Mankini that's totally wearable! I don't know about you but to me there's just one word to describe something like this.
Taking a closer look at the outer case you'll notice that this is you're standard not-to-sturdy cardboard box with a glossy finnish. It opens up with a couple of flaps at the top which I think is kind of a drag. Not that there's anything wrong with it but I'm just not a major fan of flaps.
There's also an annoying store-security cut-out on one of the sides (see image #3) and the contents feel a bit to big as the case has a tendancy to bulge out ever so slightly.
Inside the box you'll find your polybagged mankini wrapped around a small piece of cardboard along side your standard clear plastic keepcase.
I think a special note should go out about the disc-art as this is just such a nice touch. It's made to look like a regular dvd-r disc with a handwritten print that just says "BORAT" with the R written backwards.
All in all a fairly simple box that could've been much sturdier but still a very good idea and quite a fun edition.
The disc seems to be pretty identical to all the other regions and doesn't seem to pack quite the punch one might want from it.
There's a nice lineup of deleted footage followed by a little under 20 min worth of featurettes.
But that's it.
What? Yeap, afraid so. There's a small easter-egg that can be accessed by selecting Hebrew within the language menu but after that you're pretty much stuck entertaining yourself with the accompanying mankini.
The polybagged mankini can be quite difficult to fit back into the box once you've taken it out of the plastic wrapping.
