Packaging / Design

This is just a beautiful digipack, isn't it? Granted, the plain black inside is kind of a downer but the explicit graphics on the outside (of the digi) look absolutely gourgeous.

As for the slipcase I think this work rather well but you should notice that the digipack has been designed to slide in the wrong way (spine inwards). Granted, it's not impossible to insert it the other way but then the colour graphics won't match up at the slipcase case cut-outs.

Disc contents / Extras

First off, the films included in this box set are rather old low budget productions and the image quality ranges from poor to decent. With this set it doesn't win any prices as far as image and audio qualities are concerned, but it's still a nice little compilation for anyone who's interested in this writer/director duo.

As for extras there's no behind the scenes or documentary style footage related to the actual making of the film, but there are several short films on disc 2 (they amount to around 70 minutes in total).

All the short films are pretty much from the same era and feature some of the same actors, writers and directors. Even though this doesn't make up for the lack of traditional extras it's still a big plus as these films don't appear to be available on their own.

There is one short film that is strangely not listed on cover. This film is entitled simply Res Aldrig... and appears to be a short film project made prior to the feature film on disc 1, which has me guessing that this was an initial idea that later sparked the making of the feature length movie. This film includes a couple of scenes simular to things we get to see in the longer film but with different actors.

All films come with optional English and Swedish subtitles.
