Packaging / Design

This now OOP special edition has become quite a classic when it comes to Swedish editions. Ths slipcase is slightly embossed and comes with some cool alternate artwork that you don't really see on other editions.

All in all a rather good looking case, even though the bright yellow and orange design of the digipack feels like kind of an odd choice.

A slight minus for the front cover of the digipack, as the image quality of the original graphics (the pictures of the main characters) is not as good as you'd hope.

Disc contents / Extras

This is widely considered as one of the best editions of this film so far. The disc includes pretty much all the other extras seen around the world (apart from a few exclusives) and is also the only (?) edition ever to include a full bitrate DTS track.

The new R1 steelbook edition includes a secondary commentary track not featured on this disc, but other than that, you pretty much get it all with this one.

Granted, there's still not THAT many extras (no making or extensive behind behind the scenes stuff, for one) but in comparison to other editions I say this is pretty much as good as it gets.

Sidenotes

This release includes the full uncut version of the film (same cut as the unrated R1 version). Furthermore: the same digipack has also been released in the Finland, Norway and Denmark.

That edition is really nice! If you ever get a chance, you should make a video just on this edition. Very cool!
