Packaging / Design

This release comes in a wonderfull metalic-style digipack. The discs are hihgly stylized with just a clear mirror like surface and some white printing.

The only real downside is the back of the slipcase, which is a bit out of place when everything else looks so metallic.

All in all, still one hell of a digipack if you ask me.

Disc contents / Extras

This release packs quite a punch with a massive 3 discs featuring both the theatrical and the director's cut of this classic film.

The extras are also taken to the extreme but even though this release comes with a third disc there's really nothing here that you don't get on most other countries 2 disc sets (the ultimate editions sets that is).

In comparison to the R1 ultimate edition the only real difference is the lacking of a DTS track (on this edition) and the R1's inclusion of a third "special edition" cut of the film. The extra scenes appearing in that version are however still avialable here as well, but they're only included as deleted scenes.

In the end this really stands out as a damn good set with only a few minor flaws in comparison to the american edition.
