Packaging / Design

A rather simple steelbook with no embossing or inside artwork. Never the less it's a pretty nice design and probably the best packaging for this film so far.

Disc contents / Extras

This release includes the director's cut of the film as well as a number of interesting featurettes. There's no commentary track but the extras still stand strong in comparison as there's really no other edition to top it (pretty much all the director's cut releases include exactly the same extras).

A plus for english subtitles on all extras as well as some decently animated menus and a pretty fair running time for the bonus stuff.

Sidenotes

The steelbook comes with a big rating sticker that runs from the front of the case all the way over the spine to the back of the case. This is however very easy to remove and shouldn't create any major problems.

Nice steelbook. Classic film but too bad the DC ruins it.
