Packaging / Design

Just another steelbook, with a nice clean look to it. It looks good but the Autobahn framing feels a bit odd... but I guess it's easy to get used to. I'm just glad it looks as nice as it does.

The cover art itself is just so visually appealing even if it's the same kind of cover art as we see on most regions, I think it works even better when it appears on this slick silver-esque steelbook case.

Disc contents / Extras

Even though this set comes with two discs, the special features appear to be identical to those of the R1 single disc release. All in all, the extras are however quite lengthy and well made. And so with both deleted scenes, an hour-long making of, and 2 feature length commentaries, I'll rank it an 8 even if the German DTS track feels pretty pointless to my ears.

Sidenotes

One thing that really strikes me as visually interesting with this set is actually the subtitling. It's surprisingly smooth with a very fast fade-in/fade-out look to it. It's subtle but I really like it for some reason. These kind of subs appeared on Autobahn's previous steelbook release as well, on the film Brick.

Yeah I figured it was a nice touch, kinda like the criterion spine numbers I guess.

I see you added the autobahn number to the title - nice!
