Packaging / Design

Wow, this takes me back a while. This was probably one of my first digipacks. And I'm sure a lot of collector's with me remember it as being something extra special even if it might not be the hottest set out there today. For starters we get a matt black slipcase with the movie logo on it. The foldout piece has been made to look like one of John Doe's notebooks, which I think is very nice. There's a lot fo detail to the artwork and overall a very nice look for a classic film. My only concern about this case would be cut out in the slipcase, and the fact that the digipack doesn't match it colorwise (it would have looked so much better if the digipack front would have been partually black instead of standing out as much as it does through the cut out).

Disc contents / Extras

I remember this set as something extra even disc wise and I must say that it holds up even after all this time. Waying in heavily we get 4 different commentary tracks that all feel very intresting and listenable. Apart from this there's an interesting segment about the notebooks and the design of the titles sequence. We get both deleted and extended scenes along with optional commentary tracks. Menus look pretty decent and I must say that even if I've seen sets that carry a wider selection extras, this one will hold it's ground as one of those that was also really interesting to go through.
